Double Cheeseburger

Top bun: your introductory statement and argument

Tomato: Your first supporting argument

Lettuce:  further supporting detail

Cheese:  the tastiest bit- quotes/evidence

meat:  the main deal. The big argument or point.

Bottom bun:  your conclusion.

Remember that you actually build your burger from the bottom up so this may change the actual structure of the essay (conclusion first is acceptable!) however as long as you have all the elements of the burger everyone is happy!

Think Food

For the Oreo structure- this works best if you do this for individual paragraphs rather than as a whole essay plan.
